DESIGNING YOUR CANDLE COLORS
Step 1: Choose the Inside color . This is the first color
chosen and will be a predominate color in your candle. In
this candle it is light blue.
Step 2: Choose the Buffer color. This color is placed
between the colored stripes. It is often a neutral color. In
this candle the buffer color is white. It is repeated between
all colored stripes in order to keep colors from blending
together, which can change the final colors.
Step 3: Choose the Stripe(s) color. It can be the same
color as the inner color or it is often a complementary color.
One candle can have 2-3 colored stripes (each a different
color or the same color). In this candle it is light blue and
blue.
Step 4: Choose the Outside color. The last color that the
candle is dipped in. On this candle it is white. When a
white outside color is used the other colors are greatly
enhanced. Note: Wedding candles must always have a
white or light exterior with very dark lettering in order for
letters to show distinctly.
